This was our first charity gig, with a brilliant lineup of local bands. Over 100 eager music fans arrived at the Latest Bar for a night of awesome indie music, pop quiz fun and to outbid each other on a fab auction. Huge thanks to all the local organisations and individuals who donated generous prizes raising over £500 to support Together Co Befriending and Social Prescribing.
The gig lineup kicked off with an uplifting set from Samuel J Lawrence, followed by the incredible vocals of Molly of The Mos Capri Experiment, then building the pace were The Peeps followed by headliner Yellow Bellies who got everyone on their feet and delivered an incredible set (see video above). They left everyone wanting more and asking when the next Together Co Gig will be… watch this space!
Other recent highlights include our creative partnerships with local organisations of all kinds — all unique, mutually beneficial and focused on raising awareness as well as funds to support vital services. We are keen to set up more of these local partnerships, so if your organisation is like minded in connecting people, supporting communities, championing health and wellbeing and preventing loneliness and isolation in our city, get in touch here or email karen.hunter@togetherco.org.uk
