Bring your neighbourhood together this April by hosting a virtual Easter egg hunt on your street, to raise money for Together Co!

What is it?

A virtual Easter egg hunt requires seven of your neighbours to decorate and display an Easter Egg poster in their window. Each poster contains a QR code, and participants need to find and scan all seven eggs on their smart phone to complete the trail and be in with a chance of winning a prize.

At the end of the Easter holidays we will let you know how much money your hunt raised – so why not challenge your neighbours on another road to host a rival hunt to see who raises the most?

How much does it cost to enter?

It’s free to host a hunt, but participants are asked to make a £2 donation to unlock a digital ‘loyalty card’ on their smart phone, which allows them collect the eggs. If you’d like to help raise more money for Together Co you can also download a sponsorship form and ask your friends and family to sponsor you for each egg you find.

How do I host a virtual egg hunt?

Email fundraising@togetherco.org.uk and ask for a virtual Easter egg hunt pack, (and let us know what you’d like to name your hunt!). This pack will contain:

  • 7 x Easter egg posters to be given out to your neighbours to display, and participants to find and scan
  • An online link to share with participants to make their £2 donation to play
  • A host poster for you to display which participants can scan if they want to play
  • All you need to do is find seven people on your street to display a poster in their window, and then tell everyone you know to come and take part by finding the eggs! Find all seven and it unlocks a virtual certificate, and you can opt in to be in with a chance of winning a chocolatey prize.

It helps if you’re connected to your neighbours via a WhatsApp group so you can encourage people to get involved.

You can set up your trail as soon as we send you your pack, and we recommend it runs for the duration of the Easter holidays to give everyone a chance to take part.
