This will be a permanent role on the successful completion of the probationary period

Together Co (formerly known as Brighton and Hove Impetus) is Brighton and Hove’s leading loneliness charity, working to create connections that change lives for the better across the city. We run Befriending and Social Prescribing services supporting more than a thousand people a year and have 400+ volunteers working alongside our small paid staff team. In a city of 300,000 people no one should be lonely or socially isolated. Together, we can make sure no one is.

We are looking for an organised, enthusiastic and IT literate person to join our Befriending team at an exciting time, following a rebrand that has changed our name and reinforced our commitment to what we do. This role forms an integral part of the Befriending team, providing essential support to ensure the smooth and effective running of our Befriending service. We match people with people to create friendships that make life better. We’ve been doing so for over 20 years. In that time, we’ve seen loneliness eased and lives changed – all through the simple power of neighbourliness and human connection.

You are a dynamic and creative individual with excellent administrative and communications skills, who has the energy and confidence to get stuck in and to ask for help as needed. You are interested in developing your existing administrative skills and are excited to engage. You are confident using your skills to give accurate, dependable support across a wide range of activities.

The successful applicant will have the satisfaction of helping Together Co to continue its positive impact on the lives of thousands of people in Brighton and Hove.
