We are delighted to publish our new three year strategy that sets out our ambition to continue to achieve lasting impact in tackling loneliness and social isolation in Brighton & Hove. Developed over last year in consultation with our volunteers, staff, trustees and members, the strategy reflects the considerable breadth of experience and above all, our shared determination to help those in need.
The strategic plan, ‘Our future, Together’, also builds on recent experience, especially in managing the COVID-19 pandemic that tested our ability to rapidly scale and innovate to meet the step change in demand for our services. This includes the huge increase we have seen in volunteer numbers and community support prompted by the national focus on loneliness.
Over the next three years, our work will be coordinated around three strategic pillars: to ignite community connectedness, develop the best in everyone and renew our operational stability. This framework we believe
will ensure we can innovate to deliver for what our community needs now and into the future.
