In the run up to our first ever digital AGM on 24th November, we are proud to share our new Impact Report 2019-20.

In this period 91% of Together Co Befriending members reported improved wellbeing from using the service. Likewise, from those surveyed, 96% of people who used Together Co Social Prescribing reported a positive change in at least one area of their lives. We are delighted with this high level of achievement, but know there is plenty more to be done.

In the twenty years we’ve been taking action to help those experiencing chronic loneliness, there has never been a more pressing moment than now. The pandemic has reshaped every aspect of everyday life, with the greatest impact on those who are most vulnerable.

In the twenty years we’ve been taking action to help those experiencing chronic loneliness, there has never been a more pressing moment than now.

Since April, Together Co has been on the frontline of delivering emergency support to those in need. This included switching to phone befriending, offering phone based social prescribing, and providing doorstep food deliveries.

Our work is underpinned by our award-winning volunteer network and the support of our community partners, from corporate donors to individual fundraisers; local charities to regional and national associations.

Every connection helps us meet our commitment to end isolation and loneliness in Brighton & Hove.

We hope you can join us for our digital AGM to hear more about what we have learnt this year. Book your place here. Words by Together Co’s Chair of Trustees, Natalie Orringe.
