Volunteer Driver
Getting around the city can be a real problem for many people as they grow older, and for those who have disabilities or disabling illness. If you’ve got your own vehicle and some time to spare, we would love your help to drive people to and from our social groups, so they can meet others and stay happy and healthy.
Time required
Flexible, get in touch to discuss. We’d like you to be able to commit to a minimum of six months.
Key skills required
- Reliable
- Trustworthy
- Able to relate well to older people
- A safe driver
- Happy to regularly check in with our Volunteer Coordinator
- Able to complete basic reporting back to us
